Rachel Greig

Rachel Greig is an emerging ceramic artist born in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 2002. She is currently working toward receiving her BFA from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa in 2026. Rachelʻs work is shaped by her childhood and current surroundings, drawing inspiration from cartoons she grew up with, imagery of Hawai`i, and personal symbolism within her family and friends. 

She works primarily with lighter clay bodies, occasionally incorporating dark clay bodies when needed. She creates brightly colored pieces with a mixture of glazes, often allowing them to flow naturally and contrast against the natural clay body. Rachelʻs practice continues to expand through experimentation with color, form, and narrative.
